To ensure your BBI - Survey Studio device works optimally at your venue, follow the instructions below to carry out a simple, yet essential WIFI Test.
Switch on the device and fast tap on the BBI © text at the bottom left of the device screen until a white screen appears with Black Box Intelligence at the top.
The WIFI Status should show ‘Connected’ like this:
If the device is not connected you will see the alerts highlighted in yellow here:
Tap on ‘WI-FI SETTINGS’ and select the WIFI network for your venue. If you do not know or cannot see the WIFI network, get in contact with your IT team.
If your WiFi does not connect and you receive the error message 'authentication problem' then your WiFi is either offline or the password is incorrect. You will need to connect with your company's IT team to get your WiFi back up and running.
No WiFi? No problem!
If your WiFi is not working the BBI devices will continue to capture and store your reviews until your WiFi is working again and then upload the stored reviews to the BBI dashboard. The devices will store your reviews for up to 7 days. When your WiFi is back up your reviews will update on the BBI dashboard as normal.
