We are excited to announce the latest release to the GuestXM platform! This documentation will keep you up to date on any potential impact to your GuestXM experience.

Page-Level Filtering

Page-level filters allow you to filter reputation and sentiment insights pages—and all the components on those pages—by channel or message type. Previously, components like the Location Overview couldn't be filtered by these criteria, but this enhancement makes it possible. This makes it easier to identify and address issues that have the greatest impact on your business, allowing for more effective and focused decision-making.

We’re excited to announce that the page-level filters on the Reputation and Sentiment pages are now fully available to all users. Last month, we offered early access to this feature, and we're thrilled to now make it widely accessible.

Archive of Feeds

The archive feature removes feedback items from all reporting and sentiment processing, helping to keep your data clean by filtering out fraudulent, spam, or otherwise irrelevant content. This ensures your reporting remains focused on the feedback that truly matters to your business.

In a series of releases over the course of this year, the GuestXM team has introduced the ability to archive both reviews and surveys. You can now mark items individually, in bulk, or automatically through the Flows module. We’re excited to announce that this functionality is now fully available, and all users with the OWNER role in GuestXM can begin using it immediately.

Combatting Fraudulent Surveys

Building on the recent introduction of feedback archiving, the GuestXM team has also been focused on enhancing fraud detection for survey submissions. Now, enabled on per-survey basis, if GuestXM detects a potentially fraudulent survey response, it will be moved to a new folder in the Inbox called “Potential Fraud.”

Users can then review these submissions and either confirm them as fraudulent and archive them or mark them as legitimate. Like the archiving function, any items in the “Potential Fraud” folder will be excluded from all reporting on the Insights pages, ensuring that your data remains accurate and relevant.

This feature is available now to all users who can archive feedback items and have view access to surveys. For more information, you can find a help desk article here.

Pausing Integrations

In the Connection Management area of GuestXM for a specific store, users previously had two options for managing social connections: refreshing and removing. However, based on user feedback, we’ve introduced a third option—Pause.

The Pause option allows you to temporarily halt data intake into GuestXM while preserving all historical data within the system. This is particularly useful when a location is temporarily closed, as it ensures that past data remains intact while stopping new submissions from being recorded.
